Many people think that we have seasons because of the distance between the Earth and the Sun;But thats not true. The real reason for seasons is because of the tilt of Earth. The Earth tilts at a 23.5 degree angle and is positioned in a different place each season. In the northern hempisphere, its winter during November, December, January, and February but in the Southern during those months, it is Summer.
